Since 1965, the department has been offering B.Sc. program in Mathematics in which students are enrolled through common admission procedure of Gujarat University. The goal of the department is to equip all of our students with conceptual understanding, computational skills, critical thinking and active learning.
The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty members, who have extensive expertise in various fields of Mathematics.
From introductory courses to advanced seminars, curriculum covers a wide array of mathematical topics, including calculus, algebra, geometry, number theory, operations research and more. The syllabus of B.Sc. in Mathematics provide a strong foundation in mathematical theory and practical applications.
The department delivers lectures through various interesting pedagogical approaches through ICT tools. We have students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and the faculty endeavors to abreast them with latest innovations happening in the Mathematical world through several talks and seminars within the department.
